The gite is in the grounds of a large former farmhouse in the centre of the village of Cirfontaines en Azois directly opposite the 14th century church.

The village is conveniently located for access from the A5 motorway J23 which is approximately 12 Km or 15 minutes driving away. 

The A5 offers easy access from Calais.  The route is 300 miles and one should typically allow 4 hours if no breaks are taken.

The nearest train station is Bar sur Aube, around 25 minutes by car. The regular service to Paris (Gare de l'Est) takes just over 2 hours.
