Rijgersberg Family, Kapelle, The Netherlands (Sunday, 10 August 2014 16:13)

We were at Aux Trois Vallons end of July 2014 and enjoyed a fabulous holiday week! What a beautiful and very spacious house! Super value for money. Fantastic garden in front, lovely pool with a surprisingly beautiful and spectacular view of the backside hills. Wonderful peaceful place in a beautiful and characteristic village. The environment really positively surprised us. Beautiful villages, beautiful trails through and along the Champagne vineyards, charming towns nearby (Chaumont, Bar-sur-Aube and Troyes slightly further away). Also excellent environment for road bike rides. Goes on and off and on and off and a 50-60k ride here is just as tiring as climbing the Mont Ventoux....
We had our dog Suus (dachshund) with us and she also having had the time of her life. Could go her own way over the fenced grounds and is now BFF with labrador Circé.
Sarah and Jonathan are very nice and welcoming. Helpful where necessary and whenever you want, and let you go your own way to enjoy your holiday.
Aux Trois Vallons is absolutely a place we would recommend. We will definitely come back here again!

Just wanted to say what a lovely time we had in the beautiful village of Cirfontaine. The gite was brilliant, spacious and comfortable. The most well equiped accommodation we've ever stayed in. Sarah and Johnathon are lovely people with lots of local knowledge and information. It was perfect we had a lovely time, thankyou.

As soon as we arrived we knew we had chosen the right place, with such a warm welcome from great hosts who treated us to local champagne and nibbles by the pool and a wealth of local information which was great.
The gite was everything we had hoped for and more with everything you would ever need and dinner for our first night waiting for us including wine !
The countyside around the gite is beautiful and peaceful, so relaxing and a great pool area.
Local fresh bread every morning was a treat and in the surrounding area there are some great places to visit.
We can't wait to visit again and recomend this gite to friends and family.

A genuinely warm welcome to a lovely gite, beautifully finished and well equipped, situated in a pretty, peaceful village surrounded by idyllic countryside, we couldn't have asked or hoped for more - we have enjoyed a wonderful week in Aux Trois Vallons, Autumn suits it very well, with colourful woodland to walk through and the smell of woodsmoke, but we look forward to returning at different times of the year, not only is there plenty more to explore in the local area, it is a wonderful place to just be.

What a pleasant surprise! To arrive and find not only food for our evening meal but a bottle of red and a chew for our dog. It only got better with drinks and nibbles around the pool. Every appliance, including dishwasher, cooker, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer worked and had a complete set of instructions. Up-to-date guide books and local maps were all provided and the whole experience was extremely relaxing. There are even two bread delivery vans on most days. We have no hesitation in recommending this as the perfect retreat. (We have already booked next year's stay).

Just returned from a fantastic week in France.
Sarah and Jonathan were more than welcoming and very helpful. The Gite is everything you would need and more.
George enjoyed swimming in the pool daily, and Bailey (our dog) loved all the rivers and lakes nearby. Found some beautifully lake beaches where both George and Bailey swam together
Lovely rural retreat with lots to explore.

A lovely gite, well appointed and designed with comfort and space in mind: a real home from home with an authentic French feel. Wonderful countryside with lots to do around and about if you like the outdoor life and interesting attractions. Not forgetting the local caves for fabulous champagne.

We have stayed here at the main house as guests of Jonathan and Sarah, before the Gite accommodation was completed (which looked very good by the way). It is situated in a delightful quiet village with friendly locals.

The surrounding country side is beautiful, with many quaint villages to explore and of course it is on the door step of Champagne territory. Our favorite is Drappier!
